Project Overview

This project was centered around redesigning the Gamers Outreach website in order to make it more usable for potential fundraising partners, with a primary focus on those within the esports entertainment industry. By granting streamers access to Gamers Outreach’s charity streaming information, more streamers would be able to raise funds for the organization using our redesign.

Project Goal

Why we start?

The Gamers Outreach Redesign project was initiated to address critical issues within the gaming community.

Our mission was to optimize the donation process, inspire more charity streams, increase donation amounts, and build

trust among the gaming community.  Through user interviews, extensive research, and a rigorous testing process, we sought to create an optimal solution that would revolutionize gaming philanthropy.

01

Problem

We needed to enhance the Gamers Outreach website in order to optimize the donation process, encourage more charity streams, increase donation amounts, and foster positive reviews from, and thus build the trust of, the gaming community.

02

Solution

We conducted user interviews, secondary research, put our findings in a prioritization matrix, and used this to begin iterating on, and testing on, potentially solutions until we arrived at an optimal resolution solution.

03

User Research

Initial user research was needed in order to devise the most optimal solution for this problem, and our team utilized both primary and secondary means of conducting research. We wrote three interview scripts; for streamers, donors, and hospital representatives, and got to work recruiting and interviewing those who met each demographic. We supplemented with secondary research when we could not find enough and were not able to get in contact with Gamers Outreach representatives.

Qualitative & Quantitative Research

  • 10 Survey Responses.

  • Research paperwork “Charity Social Media Marketing and Its Influence on Charity Brand Image, Brand Trust, and Donation Intention”
